Some of you may or may not have noticed that I was not here for services on Sunday. I was in Kelowna with the Baker family visiting my sister. We attended service together in the Kelowna church on Sunday morning. Bro. Anthony Ens was their special speaker as their Pastor is away on holidays. Bro. Ens preached an awesome, powerful message. When were returning home on Monday, we were talking about the message and Bro. Baker said we should ask God for confirmation of the message and to let us know what He wanted us to do with it. We travelled together in to the church Monday evening for prayer service. On the way home, we were discussing our respective church services and Neil was giving us a very descriptive update of the powerful move of God that Truth Church experienced while we were away. We in turn, were telling him of all that had happened in Kelowna. For those of you who do not know, the Kelowna church has had an explosion of Jamaican people come to their church in the past few months. I had never been to their church before but the Bakers reassured me that their congregation has probably doubled. Praise God for revival!!! God was moving on Sunday morning and being felt in a great way. Anyway, we had just turned on to the dirt road toward home when Sis. Corrine mentioned that Bro. Ens had preached on Ezekiel 37:1-10, the Valley of Dry Bones. Neil stopped short and we were all looking for the deer that we almost missed. He said, "Pastor King preached that same exact message!!!" We had received our confirmation! We all sat together Tuesday evening to listen to Pastor King's message online. Even though they used the same text, Pastor King and Bro. Ens took it in slightly different directions but many points that they made were similar. The breath of God makes all the difference!!! Together, with God putting us back together and breathing into us, we are a STRONG ARMY!!!
God is AWESOME. I am asking that we keep the Kelowna church in our prayers. In this unexpected revival, they have many babies who need a lot of care. Many of them have still not received the Holy Ghost and the church being small to begin with, they are working hard to keep up. They're certainly not complaining and things are improving but they still need our prayers.
So... I thank God for His confirmation. I am now praying that He guides me in what He wants me personally to do with this message.
God Bless!
