Time waits for no one. Treasure every moment you have. You will treasure even more when you can share it with someone special.

Some mornings...

Here comes the sun!!!

My boss was walking through the office this morning and happened to glance out the window. The sun had already come up but it the clouds were blocking the light from shining through.

"The sun is coming!", was his reaction. The clouds were starting to pass and the sun was just starting to shine through.

"The sun is coming" created such an excitement in him and it started me thinking.

"The SON is coming!!!" This is definitely something to get excited about. When clouds of depression or doubt drift across our vision, it's hard to see the bright light of the Son shining through. But we all know that one day... no matter how dark the clouds are, the Son will shine through and you will stand once again on the mountaintop... above the clouds where the Son is shining bright and life is good.

Most people have no clue what others are going through... myself included. I have had a spirit of depression weighing so heavily on me lately that there are days when I just want to give up. But then... my wonderful pastors deliver a message so perfect for me. Just when I think God is no longer listening, they preach "God hears your every need". Just when offences start putting a wedge between me and my family, they preach "Make things right with your brothers and sisters". Just when I want to give in, they preach "Hold on... just a little longer".

I thank God for my church family. Just when I think that noone cares, a sister will come up and wrap her arms around me and tell me that she loves me. I had one come to me last night and all she said to me was "God loves you and it will all be better. I don't know what you're going through and I don't need to know... I just know that God will see you through and I love you." God has sent his angels in the form of my brothers and sisters to let me know that He is listening... He does care... and the Son will shine again one day soon. Just endure the clouds for a little while longer... keep holding on and keep praying... don't give up.

The Son is coming!!!

It's not a spectator sport...

Prayer is not a spectator sport... the more active the participation, the greater the reward!!!
